I am, at heart, a Bradford Bulls Rugby League fan, and a true neutral of the game, but obviously, this is a football ground website and I can not pick them. I have registered at a Stoke City fan, as I have lived a few miles away from the Bet365 stadium since before my first football game. Therefore to get an accurate mileage, I chose them. I was a wolves fan as a kid due to my Dad living in Wolverhampton and him taking my to the games, however, he himself is a Bradford City fan.
Wolves 2-3 Preston North End at Molineux, 26/12/01. I was 10 y/o. It was very cold.
Either;
Wolves 4-3 Leicester City. Wolves came from behind to win in the first Premier League game I'd been to back in 2003.
I was a mascot for Wolves vs Coventry City, once again, freezing cold!
or
Barca 3-0 Real Madrid. Saw such greats as Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Puyol, Figo, Beckham, Ronaldo, Zidane to name just a few.
Nothing Springs to mind for the footie, but I did watch my beloved Bradford Bulls receive a 70-0 thrashing at the hands of St Helens. Once again, a cold miserable night.
The sheer size of it. Wembley and the Allianz (munich) are massive, but the Nou Camp was packed to the brim for the El Classico and atmosphere was electric.
Special mention to Valley Parade (Bradford City). The corner extention just looks insanly big in comparison to the rest of the stadium and to other league 2 grounds.
It's a harsh choice. It had to be one of them. Odsal may be my Rugby Home but it's a dump. If I could have picked it, I would have, however no football has been played their in my life time. Abbey Lane (Hanley Town) was as good as could be expected and the McCains (Scarborough) at a similar level to Aggborough just wins out because of the view of the hill behind.
