Apart from the above ( and that is only a personel grievance.) there are NO bad grounds, how can any arena, wether it be a World Cup Final venue,or if it is a local tip with Jumpers for Goalposts, as long as it is hosting a game of Football, then it is a piece of land touched by The Hand of God. ( With apologies to Maradonna.)
Wrexham v Workington in 1953-54 followed a week later to see Everton play Leicester
Any game when Everton beat Liverpool. But the 4-4, F.A.Cup tie took some beating.
Watching Liverpool beat Everton 5-0- at Goodison Park 1982-83
Watching Flamengo v Santos along with over 150,000 others and to see Pele in his own Country was really something very special.
Very antiquated, and for personel reasons when I worked for my Club, and the way we were treated with a total ignoring simply because we had put them out of the F.A.Cup two years running when they were in a great position to win both games.
