First Game

Sunderland v Man Utd 81/82 - 5-1 to United. So sad that I can remember the attendance - 27070.

So many shite grounds that are no more - Douglas Park, Boghead, Broomfield, Kilbowie. Meadowbank was awful for atmosphere. Couldn't get over visiting Bloomfield Road, sitting in a wooden stand in 1998, 13 years after the Bradford fire.
