Great historic stadium with great views from anywhere. Great atmosphere in and around the stadium, even though it was only half full for a Hertha game.

The stadium is a good 40 minutes via train from Alexanderplatz in the city centre so bare this in mind when booking hotels and planning your trip
Great view with typical plastic seats
Basic facilities and probably to be expected with the age of the stadium. Toilets were clean but there's no suh concourse to watch TV at half time as you might do in England, just an open area behind the stadium to stand and talk with others
Just a few outlets behind the stand, we went when it was snowing so standing for 15 minutes in the freezing conditions wasn't great. Did have a nice Pulled Pork sandwich but i'd expect it to be nice for 6.50 euros
No problems
Cracking atmosphere from the Hertha fans, none stop chants for 90 minutes, even when they were loosing!
