"Good View decent ground"

A good day out to see Reading 0-2 Charlton. Great view, food was not great, atmosphere was decent.

Location

We were able to find free parking near the Hilton Hotel which was a short walk from the ground. Ground was surrounded by many food places such as McDonald's.

View

Good views all round. The best leg room I have came across in the championship. Seats were reasonable and wide.

Facilities

Adequate but nothing special. Pretty normal toilets for a football ground.

Food & Drink

Ordered a chicken burger for £4.80 and although the chicken was alright bun was abit hard and cardboard-like. Food was a meh experience. Ordered another Amstel beer for £4.80 which is normal for a football ground price. Having said this service was quick for the amount of fans.

Police & Stewards

Pretty Friendly and reasonable overall.

Atmosphere

Charlton fans were electric throughout the game. Reading fans were alright and better then I thought they would be. Having a drum to help with the atmosphere. A few got salty towards the end 😁
