"Best 80's Away Day"

Loved going to Somerset in the 1980's. 2 fantastic goal end covered terraces with fans often swapping ends at half-time ---- and exchanging niceties enroute !!!

Find the Racecourse first and you can't go wrong, besides like most Scottish grounds the floodlighhts can be seen for miles.

In the away end its low, but very close to the pitch --- and standing room only, the best way to enjoy a fitba gemme.

Facilities

Kinda dated when compared to most modern stadium, but adequate nonetheless.

Food & Drink

A very decent pie and bovril.

Police & Stewards

policing was heavy handed back then, suppose they had no option.

Atmosphere

2,000 Well fans packed into the away end and it rocked.
