"Trip to Norfolk"

I travelled up to Norwich from my home on the South coast by train, crossing London for a direct service form London Liverpool Street to Norwich. I arrived in Norwich just after 1.00pm so had plenty of time to find a couple of decent pubs, the first being The Coach & Horses just a few minutes walk from the station in Thorpe Road, a good pub which brews it's own beer, there was a good mix of both home & away fans enjoying the early Autumn sunshine,some were watching the lunchtime game on TV while others the sat outside. I also later had a drink sat outside overlooking the river in The Nelson before the short walk to Carrow Road.

Location

If arriving into Norwich by train then you cant fault the location of Carrow Road, less then 10 minutes walk away.

View

Away supporters are in the side corner of the ground, the view is ok but I did find the leg room a little tight.

Facilities

Getting out your seat to make your way to the toilets was not easy.

Police & Stewards

The stewards were very heavy handed they insisted that all Birmingham City fans remaind seated throughout the match and even confronted a couple who didn't sit down which could have escalated.

Atmosphere

To be fare the Birmingham fans were very quiet that day but we didn't have much to get us in the mood we were very lacklustre, the match was won be a very early goal for Norwich. I hadn't been to Carrow Road for a long time and I thought I'd have enjoyed it more but while I would definetly like to visit Norwich again I don't know if I'd bother going to Carrow Road again.
