Good to go if you haven't been there as its cheap, but the ground is basic and lacks atmosphere
Standard northen ground in the middle of a retail park. About a 20 min walk from the station. With the journey just being under 2 hours from London on the train, you can't complain

I love a good pie & after hearing so much about Wigans 'famous' meat & potato pie, I thought why not. I was left disappointed. Cheapest food & drink though at any ground I've been to
Not a massive police presence but not needed
The ground is half empty & most of the noise comes from the away fans
