Fratton is such a charming place with the old stands mixing in with new instalments.
Unfortunately, it is falling apart along with Portsmouth FC in general but the buzz when you go there makes up for it.
Swansea City visited Fratton in the FA Cup and won 2-0. The atmosphere generated in the away end is fantastic but didnt hear the Pompey sing up that much. I guess when bigger teams come down, its very different.
Parking is mainly street parking for free.
Tight, uncomfortable with a poor view.
Back to grounds in the 60s with facilities like that!
Fair with no problems.
Away end fantastic acoustics, home end didnt hear a peep!
