"Better than I expected"

I visited Rodney Parade in late October, The away supporters are in a modern stand on the side of the stadium with a separate covered bar building. Staff where very friendly. The ground was much better than I had been told it was due to this new side stand being built. Only complaint is the layout of the ground means that the sun is low and you are looking directly into it before it sinks behind the opposite stand.

Location

Close to town, short walk over a bridge to town centre. decent Wetherspoons pub within short walk the other way.

Other than the sun shining and restricting vision, unobscured views.

Facilities

Good spacious bar area.

Food & Drink

Good range and reasonable quality and price.

Atmosphere

Not the loudest, but crowds are not that big. Main opposition support is also on other side of crowd. Good friendly place to go.
