Leavesden Hospital

• Guinness Book of Records for 1974, shows a Herts Intermediate Cup for the number of ties played in one round and that the matches had taken place in 1971. Leavesden Hospital were also the eventual victors in a 7-tie tussle that took 12 hours, 41 minutes. (rookeryroy)
• Leavesden Hospital ground was used by Kings Langley FC before they moved to their current ground. Kings Langley does not show Leavesden Hospital as a former ground. It should, really. (rookeryroy)
• Original name was Leavesden Asylum in 1908 when they joined Hertfordshire Senior County League. Name changed to Leavesden Mental Hospital before a change to the current name. Leavesden Hospital played their last season in 1988/89. (rookeryroy)
