Without meaning any disrespect to anything else \'Lautern may have to offer, there is a distinct feeling that once a fortnight in the season, somewhere where not al ot happens is transformed.

Even at a low ebb, football wise, Lautern\'s home game are a loud and lively affair with a wonderful atmosphere on a par with teams far more successful and higher profile.

The stadium is right in the centre of the city, another aspect to it that makes Fritz Walter Stadion a cut above/
