I visited Field Mill with Scunthorpe in January 2005. The ground is of a fairly decent size with good enough facilities. The stand that houses the away fans is all-seater, with a decent view of the pitch.
Field Mill seemed fairly close to the town centre and getting there from the train station wasn't a problem from what I can remember.
No problems at all - good view of the pitch!
Seemed fine to us.
