"Mind the dug"

This ground always felt like football was a visitor to it. If you watched a game there, you had this feeling of having to watch it "over the dug track". The football seemed to feel 'distant' - at least that's how it came across to me on the 3 or 4 times I visited there for a game. Wasn't a bad place, and Clyde were a good team at the time (late 60s) but you just felt sort of 'uncomfortable' watching a game.

Atmosphere

Funny sort of atmosphere because of the layout. Overall - warm memories though.
