samarmitage has rated St Mary's Stadium 3.5 out of 5.
Overall, St Mary's is a prime example of a modern ground - a one-tier bowl the whole way round, with #saintsfc imprinted on one section of the ground, however you do still get a good view of the game there.
We had an easy journey to the ground, straight down the motorway, and then parked nearby and it was just a 15 minute-or-so walk to the ground across the bridge.
Personally I had a very good view for this game - at row 6 right behind the goal, and it is not often that away fans can be located right behind the goal as I was at St. Mary's.
There were a lot of Burger vans around the ground, and then inside the ground the queues were short and the service was good to get a reasonably-priced pint.
Didn't have any encounters with the police and stewards but it seemed that they had everything under control.
The home fans were quiet all game, it was a rare occasion when they did sing - there were only about 3 or 4 chants all game.
