rampage has rated Bakewell Recreation Ground 0.5 out of 5.
Situated in large public park, pavilion type building in one corner next to cricket pitch. No cover next to the pitch and limited hard standing ,access to the four sides, very basic.
Situated on main road into the town, the beautiful river Wye runs through the park just behind the main pavilion, beautiful views of the Derbyshire countryside. Buses run from the town centre which is only about 5/10 minutes walk away with services to Matlock railway station and further on to Derby city centre.
Only park benches available.
Very tidy in the pavilion , bar area serving hot and cold drinks and snacks, toilets here we're found to be very clean and acceptable. Cover in front of the building provides a distant view of the action.
