"Phoenix Sports Club"

A very shabby ground and the pitch had massive slop. Around the ground was a very muddy grass bank with a narrow path with one small covered stand area on one side of the ground and behind the dug out were two small covered seats stand in what is a very basic ground with a good clunhouse

Location

It is an easy walk from Crayford Railway Station. Walk out of the station on Station Road into Dartford Road. Walk straight up the Hill, right around, and turn left into Old Street. Then walk down the hill and turn left onto Woodside Road. Walk up the hill to Mayplace Road and cross the road to Phoenix Sports Ground. Alternatively, from Branhurst railway station, walk past the cafe on to Northall Road, then walk down Manor Road on to Mayplace Road, and Phoenix Sports Ground is on the right.

Atmosphere

Besides one man making all the noise for Phonenix sports in Attendance of 172 it was ok as Deal brought a drummer.
