"Great Bacon & Egg Roll!"

Ground no. 361. 3rd July 2021. Benfleet v Redbridge Pre-Season Friendly. First game of the new 2021-22 season. Only watched this match yesterday and already can't remember the score! I will check but think Redbridge won 3-2 with a Redbridge triallist scoring a hat trick. Whilst this is there old ground it is still completely intact with a decent clubhouse which served up the excellent food. Benfleet are ground sharing with Canvey, presumably with aspirations to play at a higher level.

Location

Just to say that the ground is over to the right where you can just make out the clubhouse and pitch from the aerial shot. Very easy by car, also possible by bus going to Southend from Benfleet station.
