"Well maintained, fair sized main stand"

has rated Stade de Marville 3.5 out of 5.

loveanewground's review of Stade de Marville

Ground no 323 on this site. Sunday August 12th 2018. Womens' under 20's World Cup. England v Mexico 5-1. England losing 1-0 at half time but turned it round in second half and won comfortably. Nice basic stadium. One good main stand and I assume temp seating for the world cup at both ends.

Location

Not well signposted given this was a world cup event, we drove and there was plenty of parking in side streets and a car park we didn't see until we were parked. It is easily walkable from the station and also from the ferry.

View

Yes, perfect view from the main stand.

Facilities

Toilets were perfectly ok.

Food & Drink

I giving this two stars as they had the common european system of having to buy tokens to then buy food and I couldn't be bothered with it. Went into St Malo after the game instead.

Police & Stewards

Perfectly ok, low key.

Atmosphere

Good atmosphere and friendly. Good turnout of England Fans.
