Ground no 324 on this site. Sat 25th August 2018 Chesterfield v Barnet. 0-1. Nice irony here with Martin Allen ex of Barnet being the Chesterfield manager. The curved roof on the main stand looks really good as you approach. Fairly basic inside but perfectly fine and great view from the stand opposite the main stand.
Out of town so nowhere near the train station, however there is a match day bus from the town centre. We walked back in about 25 mins. Car park at the ground plus street parking.
Yes, great view of the pitch.
A breeze block finish so looks basic once inside but the toilets were perfectly fine.
My son got a coffee but didn't try anything else.
Friendly stewards outside for bag search and allowed to take soft drink into the ground with screw cap still attached! All very low key as it should be.
Not much atmosphere, probably due to lack of goals and Chesterfield losing. Plenty of singing from Barnet fans after the goal.
