Great little ground. But no option to use cash for a £1 can of drink inside the ground is seriously annoying. And toilet facilities are lacking. Needs a pisser on the other side of the pitch as well. Worried that the option to use cash at the gate will also vanish in 2024. Owner seems the sort who wants to tattoo QR codes on everyone's foreheads so he knows who you are.
It's in a town centre that has a few pubs and a number of restaurants all within a few minutes walk. Railway station is easy walking distance. Parking - head to the Waitrose car park - free parking after 1830.
Love the way that the end behind the goal is high up. You can't walk all the way round pitch, it's a 3-sided ground. You can't walk all the way down the near side of the pitch either due to some works going on. Been like that for ages.
Toilet facilities are woefully lacking given the size of the crowds they now get.
Burger wasn't great. Really annoying how the 2 food outlets inside the ground don't accept cash. Odd considering you can pay cash to get in the ground. I don't want to be purchasing a £1 can of coke on card.
Got a good local following. Club gets big crowds for level 9.
