"Falling apart ground"

has rated Love Lane 1.0 out of 5.

hampshirehopper's review of Love Lane

Run down old ground. Advertising hoardings around the pitch falling apart. Bit of a building site along one side of ground.

Location

Less than 10 minutes walk from town centre. A little over 10 minutes walk from station.

View

Main stand is falling apart. And a serious trip hazard if coming back down the stairs.

Facilities

Toilets are bad. Make sure you've had a dump before leaving home. Hot tap has been leaking for about 3 years. (Edit - hot tap in gents been leaking for about 4 years now. Stadium sponsored by a building company and they can't change a tap!)

Food & Drink

Food isn't great. Get something to eat in the town beforehand. Crap selection of beer, nothing whatsoever for the real ale lovers :-(

Atmosphere

They do have a happy band of supporters. Generally very good support for a Wessex League team.
