"Stark's Park"

has rated Stark's Park 3.5 out of 5.

facebook-user-62729's review of Stark's Park

A decent, if slightly odd-looking ground. Behind each goal is a decent-sized, modern-looking stand with respectable facilities. However, on one side there is an old-looking main stand that only runs about 1/3rd of the length of the pitch, while on the opposite side it looks like they started building a stand, but gave up when it was time to bolt the seats in

Location

The ground is a 15-minute walk from Kirkcaldy train station, with decent car parking facilities nearby

View

The away stand (behind one of the goals) offers a good view of the pitch

Facilities

No complaints

Food & Drink

There is a smallish pub at the bottom of the road to the stadium

Police & Stewards

Can't complain, the stewards (namely Princess Fiona, Neil Lennon and Slick Rick) allowed the away fans to enjoy the game in a relaxed atmosphere

Atmosphere

The nature of the ground (with the two sets of supporters at opposite ends) can make it difficult to create a good atmosphere, but the acoustics of the stands allow supporters to make a fair bit of noise
