"Seen better days but very decent for step 6"

has rated Ironmould Lane 4.0 out of 5.

etxebe's review of Ironmould Lane

We visited on a sunny November afternoon and was impressed by the ground. It's clear it has seen better days with various old teahuts, toilets and changing rooms no longer in use, but must still be one of the better grounds at step 6. Loads of seats and only a small section of the ground not undercover. Only a small crowd sadly, but you could imagine it being buzzing with a couple hundred or so for a big cup game.

Location

Easy enough to get to by car, perhaps not so convenient by train but I imagine you could get to it by bus from Bristol city centre

View

A decent amount of seats for a step 6 ground and mostly undercover. The main stand went quite a few rows back so you could have a decent view if you prefer not to by right next to the pitch

Food & Drink

Chips weren't available until half-time, too late in the afternoon for me but when my old man had some said they were nice

All the food/drink was in the clubhouse which was quite decent for that level

Atmosphere

A very small crowd (50ish) but that seems normal for the Bristol clubs at that level
