etxebe has rated Daegu World Cup Stadium 3.0 out of 5.
Visited here in 2018 but it would be quite hard to catch a game here now as Daegu have since moved into a much smaller 'soccer specific' stadium. Impressive to see one of the biggest stadiums in Korea and one of the wc2002 venues, but really not suitable for K-League fixtures that barely get a couple thousand (sadly a common theme for many of the 2002 stadiums in Korea). Highlight was a half time performance of Nessun Dorma from a opera performance that was in town.
You have to get a 20min or so bus from the city.
Standard running track but there was an temporary stand behind one of the goals that would have got you closer.
What kind of atmosphere do you expect for a 1k crowd in a 60k stadium?
