"impressive stadium"

An impressive looking and sized stadium that deservedly has been chosen to hold some euro games.

Location

Outside of city centre and traffic gets quite busy. Get off at one of the metro stops nearby ( Stellingen or Eidelstedt) and take a 15 minute walk to the stadium with the crowd

View

Th ground has great site lines around the stadium. However try and avoid front of block 13C in guest area. The stadium serves beer throughout the games and this section is mixed supporters which gladly doesn't have any issues. However supporters do stand here with their beer and try and find where they are meant to be sitting. We did miss a few bits of action and one goal because of this!

Facilities

Located on next floor down but enough for the size of stadium

Food & Drink

Plenty of refreshments, from Pilsner on draught, pretzels and currywurst, giving the whole matchday experience a very Germanic feel. They even have guys going round with backpacks so you dont have to leave your seat

Police & Stewards

helpful and discreet

Atmosphere

Ground was nearly full and a great atmosphere. Good mix of home and away fans
