"Weirdest Ground I've Visited"

has rated Pancho Arena 4.5 out of 5.

dancordock's review of Pancho Arena

The stadium is utterly bizarre, it is in farmland with nothing around it. To get there go to Bicsketrain station (dont get off at Bicske south as I did). Then get the bus, there is only one every hour-ish to the ground but the walk to ground is essentially along a country road with no paths and is easily 5-6km.
The ground itself is amazing and there will be very few fans there, mostly local kids. One food stand which is swamped at all times. Tickets around €2 if you buy online in advance.

Location

Almost impossible to get to. Time your train to Bicske from Budapest Deli, every 30 mins and takes about 40 mins and 6 stops.
No one in the town speaks much english and there are few bars or places to waste time.
Very difficult to get the one bus to the Arena.

View

Amazing stadium/ half wood and half concrete. Maybe the most beautiful, small stadium i have been to.

Facilities

Not enough kiosks, but the toilets are top notch and there is even weirdly a Playstation corner to play Fifa at half time (no one played as Puskas Akademia...)

Food & Drink

Cheap but only one kiosk open selling sweets, crisps and beer (€2 a pint)

Police & Stewards

more stewards than fans

Atmosphere

Would be improved if they had more than 200 fans...
