The ground is very basic in a beautiful location. Do not expect a great deal of comfort but there is a decent view without any facilities available - probably what you come to expect in the 4th tier of Greek football.
Petriti is a lovely Greek fishing village (or small town) and the ground is quite centrally located with lovely views of the surrounding hills. I didn’t spot any signs on the way to the ground but Google maps will take you straight to it. I walked 2.5 miles to the ground but you can park outside or very close to it.
There are clearly some ground improvements underway with several layers of terracing to half way along one side of the ground under construction - I’m not sure if the work was ongoing or had paused. The view was good but the locals realise it’s a good idea to bring a cushion or some cardboard to protect your bottom from the hard concrete. You pay €5 admission to enter the ground.
Well there aren’t really any facilities at all. I looked for toilets but I saw a local disappearing behind a bush at the back of the ground so I presume that was it!
I was hoping for a snack bar to visit at half-time but there wasn’t one - I suddenly realised all the local fans had popped to the supermarket and were coming back with bags with drinks and food!
As I explained before there isn’t anything - but if I had realised I could have popped out to the supermarket at half-time.
No police or stewards required with a crowd of about 150.
There was a good atmosphere and with 2 sending offs and a few contentious decisions by the referee I think I learnt a few Greek swear words as well. There was a small group of away fans who were also in attendance.
