"Long way from Lyon"

This an impressive modern ground. The only problem is how far it is out of Lyon, 15 km for a night game you have to give yourself a lot of time to get to the ground as the road network is extremely busy.

Location

A long way from Lyon, If a neutral or home fan the best route is via a tram. As an away fan on a coach we had to leave very early due to the level of traffic on the roads to the ground. Took about 75 minutes to get to the ground.

The away section had heavy netting surrounding it, I'm sure outside of the away section would have perfectly good views. You do feel some way away from the pitch however.

Facilities

All modern facilities and plenty of toilets.

Food & Drink

Food was o.k. Kiosk don't all sell hot food however.

Police & Stewards

Massive over the top police presence when I went, Huge numbers of police in riot gear and two water cannon. That said the police were perfectly friendly.

Atmosphere

Good atmosphere, Although heavily encouraged by tannoy to make noise.
