"Brigg Town 5 - 1 Armthorpe Welfare"

A game low on quality played on a heavy pitch in torrential rain. But surely thats one of the redeeming features of attending these games isn't it? Otherwise we'd all be watching Premier League, at home on Sky.
At 2-1 to the home side a delightful chip from AW came back off the post and the Zebras went down the other end to make it 3-1, eventually running out comfortable winners 5-1.

Location

Found it quite hard to get to, no obvious signs. Maybe not being local and the rain was torrential I missed them.

Two decent covered stands alongside the sides of the pitch. Open ends behind the goals which were not populated due to the rain!

Facilities

Warm, welcoming clubhouse. Not drinking as I was driving but the food was good.

Cheerful pleasant stewards esp given they had to be stood out on the conditions!
