BMH has rated Mossie Park 3.5 out of 5.
Aside from the result a decent day out at a decent ground.
Fairly easy to get to. Head up M6, turn off junction before Charnock Richard Services ( More Than A Service Station) and its 5 mins away.
Unobstructed views from all 4 sides.
Seated stand along one side with two further covered stands, one behind the goal at changing room end, and one down the opposite side backing on to the cricket pitch.
Proper 'old stool' turnstile at which programmes are sold. £2 for a good programme, £6/£4 entry pay in cash or card.
Changing room building next to pitch has a small kiosk selling hot and cold food, and badges.
Literally across the road is a very good & busy club house.
Pastie, peas and gravy for £3.60 inside the ground - piping hot/spot on.
Across the road in the clubhouse plenty of beers/lagers on offer - only had time for one as coach driver was itching to get away back to ferry!
No Police, but all the stewards were helpful & friendly - its a bit of a standard for this division and very welcome.
Attendance 158 of which maybe 30 supporting FCIOM.
