"Salford City 4 - 3 Manchester United U21"

EFL Trophy game attended as FCIOM away game at Irlam had been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Tidy ground with a large following from very close neighbours.
Had to chuckle at the old 'Always Look on The Bright Side' song being sung, as MU where 3-2 up with minutes to play. 2 penalties in 87' and 95' (Fergie Time) swung the game towards the hosts.

Location

We got a very efficient Uber to the ground, which was very little hassle.

Managed to walk round all 4 sides of the ground pre kick off, and all 4 covered stands afforded very good unobstructed views. Standing terraces behind both goals was welcome.

Facilities

Bar and food availability was very good, and very busy.

Food & Drink

All good to report. Decent stuff at reasonable prices.

Police & Stewards

Police and stewards did their jobs in a very understated way.

Atmosphere

MU supporters in their numbers went through their repertoire of songs adding to and helping create a good atmosphere.
