BMH has rated Litherland Sports Park 2.0 out of 5.
FCIOM won 2-1 after being a goal down. The ground itself is limited, the supporters & welcome in the clubhouse absolutely top notch.
Easy enough to get to - buses, taxis, trains even
One small seated terrace, the rest was behind a rail which surrounded a running track. So watching from ground level
Limited facilities linked to the Sports Park/Centre
The small clubhouse more than made up for any negatives of the ground.
First great idea was £10 a ticket for the match + a pie and a pint.
Second was the welcome in the clubhouse. This is where so many clubs at this level score massively & where professional teams could learn from when looking after their 'customers'.
The Remy staff were top notch - its that simple.
Hard to create an atmosphere at a very open ground. It helps that FCIOM won 2-1 in quiet a close game.
