Camp Nou capacity increased to 62,000

Barcelona have had agreement from the local council to increase the temporary capacity of Camp Nou to 62,000.

The stadium is undergoing major renovation works and opened to a limited 45,000 capacity in November 2025.

The increase to 62,009 comes as work on the lower and middle tier has been completed, with attention now turning to the stadium's top tier.

Once completed, the ground will have a capacity of 104,000 and feature a roof covering all stands. It is expected that the work will be completed in the summer of 2027, with little to no disruption to first team fixtures. If necessary, the club could expand the women's team, the Estadio Johan Cruyff as a temporary home.
