"10.000 capacity stadium on the outskirts of Berlin and Potsdam"

has rated Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion 3.0 out of 5.

jonk's review of Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion

nice 10k capacity stadium between Potsdam and Berlin. The ground is a 10 minute walk from the nearest S-Bahn station and there are a number of restaurants on that direct route. The main stand has about 1500 covered seats and there are a further 500 uncovered seats on that side. Behind one goal is a modern covered terrace stand with a scoreboard. The other 2 stands are older uncovered terracing. There are a number of places for food and drink in the ground but the queues are long. In front of the terraces are 1980s style crowd control fencing which was a little offputting. A nice touch kids under 12 were free and for little ones there is even a small kindergarten

Police & Stewards

stewards were friendly and the police were quiet in the side streets.

Atmosphere

Good atmosphere, particularly losing 4-1 at home. I was surprised the attendance was only 5000, the stadium looked fuller
