bobmcp has rated East Shore Park 4.0 out of 5.
To the best of my knowledge Newburgh FC's East Shore Park never rates a mention in any reviews of the top 50/top 100 British football grounds/stadiums. Perhaps it should; I loved it.
The small town of Newburgh is very nice to visit and East Shore Park was even more likeable than I expected.
The ground is very neat and contains two sections of covered terracing which house a selection of kitchen and garden seats, plus some garden benches too! What’s not to like?
The club provides a wide selection of very reasonably priced food and drinks and the steak pies are strongly recommended!
If there were any police in attendance they must have been CID officers! I couldn't see any stewards either. I suppose there's simply no requirement for either.
From the volunteers who meet and greet supporters (taking admission payments/checking season tickets, selling lottery tickets and programmes) to those who assist in the provision of food and drinks, they couldn't be more welcoming or friendlier.
No sense of entitlement here! Just a very pleasant place to watch a football match.
