"typical southern league"

This is exacly the sort of thing that comes to mind when you think of Southern Premier League grounds.
few hundred in attendence, no real atmosphere, a few rows of seats and some terracing.
I didnt think the ground was too bad really, the clubhouse is nice, although the atmosphere only came from us travelling weymouth fans even though the hosts won the game 3-1.

Location

The ground is located along a main(ish) road although i have to say, had i been driving there myself i would have struggled to find it.

View

we stood in the covered terrace along one side of the ground and we had no problem seeing the action at any point.

Facilities

the only facilities inside the ground really is a small cafe. toilets and indeed everything else are located in the club house

Food & Drink

the bar served your usual selection of drinks. the food looked ok although i didnt try it. wasen't all that expensive either

Police & Stewards

from what i remember there were no police or stewards present. not noticable anyway which can only be a good thing

Atmosphere

from an Arlesey point of view the atmosphere was non existent despite their team racing into a 3-0 lead by half time. only us travelling fans made any noise.
