German side Union Berlin are to start redevelopment work on their Stadion An der Alten Forsterei early in 2023.
The Bundesliga side plan to increase the capacity from 22,000 to 37,500.
The cost of the project is around €150m, which will take more than 2 years to complete. Union will be forced to play away from the stadium and will spend the 2024/2025 season playing at the Olympiastadion - home to city rivals Hertha Berlin.
