Argentinian side Newell’s Old Boys have presented plans to redevelop the Estadio Marcelo Bielsa.
The ground will be remodelled over the next 4 years into a fully enclosed bowl with a capacity of 65,000.
The club has been playing at the ground since 1911, with the last major upgrade taking place 25 years ago. That set the capacity to 42,000.
As well as the large increase in capacity, the work will also install 2 new large TV screens and newer educative boxes.
Bienvenidos al futuro
