Argentinos Juniors have revealed plans to modernise the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The Argentinian club are looking to completely moderise the stadium, building a new 3-tiered stand behind one of the goals, and covering all stands around the pitch with a roof.
The stadium is named after the football legend who made his debut at the stadium back in 1976.
Work is expected to take around 2 years. Once complete, the stadium’s capacity will increase from the current 22,000 to around 30,000.
