AEK Athens open new 32,000 seater stadium

Greek giants AEK Athens have opened their new 32,000 OPAP Arena.

The stadium is built on the site of the club’s former home, Nikos Goumas Stadium which hosted AEK matches from 1925 through to 2003.

The Greek Super League side’s new home took just over 5 years to build, costing around €100m.
