New stadium planned for Saskatoon, Canada

New stadium planned for Saskatoon, Canada

Wednesday 15th June 2022

A new football stadium is to be built in Saskatoon, Canada.

The new stadium will be located in the Prairieland Park area in the south of the city and will be home to a new Canadian Premier League side, after rights were awarded last year.

It will also be home to other local football teams as well as cricket, rugby and concerts.

It is hoped that the new ground will be opened in 2024, with funding due to be secured this year. The total cost of the project is estimated at around £18m.
