Kansas City Current have unveiled plans for the women's soccer stadium in the NWSL.
The 11,000 seater stadium would be built on land adjacent to the Missouri River at the east end of Berkley Riverfront Park. The location is central to the city - much nearer than MLS West's Sporting KC whose Children's Mercy Park stadium is some 15 miles away from the city centre.
The new stadium for KC Current could be open as soon as 2024 at an estimated cost of $120m.
