Qatar has officially opened its 4th new stadium which will be used for the upcoming 2022 World Cup.
The new 40,000 seater Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium will host 7 matches at next year's event up to and including the Round of 16 stage.
The stadium's first match was the Amir Cup final which saw Al-Saad beat Al-Arabi 2-1. Al Saad are managed by Barcelona legend Xavi whose team includes fellow Spanish stalwart Santi Cazola.
The match was played in front of 20,000 fans who had to give proof of a negative COVID-19 test before being allowed to enter.
