Italian side Spezia are to increase the size of their Stadio Alberto Picco to 16,000. Plans include demolishing the main grandstand, replacing it with a new 5,500 seater stand as well as upgrading the stands behind each goal.
The Serie A outfit are playing their first season in the Italian top flight and have been forced to play their first home games of the season at Cesena's Stadio Dino Manuzzi whilst first phase to modernise ground is completed.
The club are due to host their first home game in La Spezia in December as VAR equipment is installed.
