A new 55,000 capacity stadium is to be built in the Colombian city of Barranquila.
The new stadium will be known as the Arena Del Rio and will cost over £300m. It will feature a retractable grass pitch and will be the first stadium in Latin America to include a closable roof.
Once complete, the stadium could become the new home of the Colombian national team as well as local Primera A side Junior de Barranquilla.
The city of Barranquilla is located around 500 miles north of the capital Bogota. The new stadium will be the jewel in the crown of a larger complex which will also include 3 auditoriums, a swimming pool, 5 star, hotel, 100 apartments, bars, restaurants and a small marina.
