Harrogate Town to play first matches at Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium

Harrogate Town to play first matches at Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium

Wednesday 5th August 2020

EFL newcomers Harrogate Town will start life in League 2 at Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium.

The North Yorkshire side were promoted to the EFL after beating Notts County in last season's National League play off final. However, the club's 4G pitch at Wetherby Road isn't allowed in the EFL and has to be replaced before the club can play there.

As a result, Harrogate will play their first few "home" matches in Doncaster - 42 miles away from Harrogate.
