AFAS Stadion reopens with win over Ajax

AZ Alkmaar return to home stadium after roof collapse saga

AZ Alkmaar have played their first game back their home stadium after part of the roof collapsed earlier this season.

The Dutch Eredivisie side had been playing their home games at ADO Den Haag's Cars Jeans Stadion whilst work was carried out to make the ground safe again.

With the roof removed, the AFAS Stadion re-opened with AZ's 1-0 victory over league leaders Ajax.
