Fiorentina are moving closer to building a new stadium after local architects revealed their vision of how the ground might look.
The Serie A side have been considering a move away from the aging Stadio Artemo Franchi. Last month, Florence city council made an area of land available for sale in the north east of the city, which has been earmarked for the new stadium.
The design under consideration would see a new 40,000 seater stadium built at a cost of around €150m. If given the green light, it would take 2 years to build. The development would also include a two-storey shopping center and restaurant.
