The Parkstadion was built for the World Cup 1974 in Germany.
Since that it was home of FC Schalke 04.
Last game was on May 19th, 2001 which ended in the most tragic Bundesliga final ever and Schalke becoming "Meister der Herzen"... (facebook-user-98463)
